What do you do?

We are a Kansas City based company providing a variety of small business support services, many from our office, as well as some on-site for local clients. We can provide that ongoing support most small businesses need.

Who can benefit from your services?

Although our target audience are local Kansas City-based small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMB's) of around 200 employees or less, our primary focus are on those with 20 or less. And since most companies need the types of services we provide, almost any type of business industry can benefit from working with us. Whether you’re a sole proprietor, have a small staff, or even a larger one, you may be able to benefit from hiring us to provide you with primary or supplemental support. 

What types of services do you offer?

Our network of company brands touch on the basics of many of the services required to do the day-to-day types of operations of a typical business including: Administrative Support, Business Consulting, Commercial Photography, Computer Support, Desktop Publishing, Event Management, Accounting, Logistics Support, Website Administration … and more! If it's a typical service required for most businesses to operate, we may be able to provide it to you. 

How do you differientiate yourself from other companies?

Unlike most companies who are specialists and charge a higher specialist rate, as generalists, we can be a one-stop-shop for most basic small business needs and at a lower rate. In fact, our closest competition may be those who are Virtual Assistants, but unlike most VAs, we come from a technical background so we have the experience in these types of areas a typical VA from an administrative background may not have.

Also, we don't do 'Windows' or more generally, we don't use most popular expensive software most specialists use such as those from Adobe and Microsoft. We saw no need to do this when there are other more cost effective solutions where we could pass on the savings to our customers. In fact, we perform our services on Linux and Macintosh computers utilizing various open source software to provide our end products. These end products are typically cross-platform compatible so you can still open the files on Windows or other platforms.

Why should we use your company?

There are many reasons you might want to use us such as:

• Increased productivity by freeing up time usually spent doing administrative work 
• Saving on annual staffing expenses since services rendered on an as-needed basis 
• No need to pay for idle or unproductive time as with standard full-time employees 
• No additional expense for employee benefits, taxes, office space or equipment
• We can supplement your skill sets and even provide many of the same services as regular employees of your company at a potentially lower annual cost. 

What are your typical rates?

We have a standard hourly rates for basic services, but apply various discounts including prepay and bulk discounts. This may come in the form of prepaid retainers, or contracts with a minimum weekly billable time. Rates may have a wide range from $30-$60/hr depending on the services offered but are typically $40/hr minus any discounts for standard remote services with local on-site services or other advanced services demanding more. When we contract for services, you will be contracting at specific rates and will be notified if any of your service requests will exceed the contract boundaries before those services are rendered. 

Do you provide services as a subcontractor?

Not typically. We only cover the basics of any particular service directly to our customers and don't consider ourselves specialists in any of the areas we service. This helps us maintain low overhead and be able to pass those cost savings on to our customers. However, we may subcontract specialists from our network of companies to perform some specific specialty services for our customers.
